Kubota Engines signs up Lister Wilder

Kubota UK Limited, a subsidiary of Kubota Corporation, has announced a new strategic Industrial partnership with Lister Wilder Ltd, a UK-based leading Agriculture, Grounds Maintenance and Construction equipment dealer in the south of England. The new agreement comes into effect from spring 2021, officially establishing Lister Wilder Ltd as the new regional Service Dealer for Kubota Industrial Engines throughout the South East of England.

Operating from the Lister Wilder Ltd Head office branch in Ashford, Kent, Kubota powered equipment customers will benefit from enhanced levels of Customer-First product and aftersales support and services, from the supply and distribution of genuine service parts, field service maintenance and technical support including the supply of Service Engines from dedicated Kubota trained personnel.

This new venture further expands upon the highly successful, long-term strategic partnership between Lister Wilder Ltd and Kubota UK, whose Agriculture and Construction divisions already exist within the highly professional Kubota Gold+ Dealer divisions of Lister Wilder Ltd. From a renewed and heightened focus in our customers necessity to increase productivity, from minimising unscheduled downtime loss and increased importance of first-time field fix in resolving any issues, these are important factors that remain paramount and at the forefront of this agreement.

Lister Wilder is a wholly owned family business that was established in 1947. Now in its third generation, the company has evolved to become a well-known and well-respected name throughout the industry, recently winning Service Dealer’s agricultural and ground care Dealer of the Year award. Its Kubota ground care business dates back to 1995 and was complemented by expansion with Kubota’s construction equipment in 2001.

Its first Kubota centre was created three years ago in Ashford, Kent, and forms the blueprint for future development, with multi-million pound investment plans in place to create further Kubota centres across its network in 2021.
