Liebherr’s star attraction takes shape

Many of us would have liked to see a larger truck, having already seen the T 264 at the last Bauma event 3 years ago, but whichever way you look at it the big dumptruck which dominates the corner of the impressive Liebherr stand is a real showstopper. 12792090_1137506732926192_4922892872321345391_o Preparations for the world’s largest plant and machinery show which takes place next month at the Messe Munchen exhibition centre in Munich are now well underway, with the larger pieces of equipment being put together over the coming weeks both outdoors and indoors. It’s an almost mind blowing operation in terms of scale and time and must take a lot of operational and strategic planning to get all this heavy equipment in place for the 7 day machinery fest. 12792215_1137506796259519_7189697048725852889_o The 240 ton payload class T 264 has a gross vehicle weight of 424 tons and combines an efficient Litronic Plus AC drive system with a high power engine which offers a power output rating of up to 2,700 HP / 2.013 kW. 12496362_1137506799592852_6224080355944153204_o Check out this promotional video from Liebherr which features the T 264 in action.
