New Komatsu machines for McHale

Irish Komatsu distributor McHale Plant Sales has announced a fresh line-up of machines for 2020, including a new battery powered mini excavator.

The rechargeable PC30 excavator tips the scales at 3.5 tonnes and will be offered alongside two more mini diggers: the PC26MR-5 and PC58MR-5. Also due next year is an eight-tonne WA97S-8 backhoe loader, plus mid-sized PC290LCi-11 and PC360LCi-11 crawler excavators. The 30- and 40-tonnes machine will come with Komatsu’s latest integrated intelligent Machine Control system and will include stroke sensing hydraulic cylinders for the boom, arm and bucket.

Three new wheel loaders are also on the way. The WA80-8 mini wheel loader and 24-tonne WA475-10 model will be suitable for construction, warehousing and agricultural use, the latter machine packing an EU Stage V engine and the first Komatsu equipped with the company’s new Hydraulic Mechanical Transmission (KHMT). McHale’s third new wheel loader will be the revised, 100-tonne WA800-8 model with enhanced comfort, Stage V engine and 20-tonne bucket capacity.There will also be a 100-tonne HD785-8 rigid truck aimed at quarry owners, aggregates producers, large civil and ground works contractors.

Earthmovers magazine will feature Komatsu’s new battery powered PC30 mini excavator early in the new year.
