New Wacker Neuson DW40

Wacker Neuson has revealed a new, 4-ton payload DW40 wheel dumper, which joins the 2-ton DW20 and 3-ton DW30 in the range. Featuring an articulated pendulum joint and hydrostatic all-wheel drive, the new DW40 is available in open and cabbed forms, and tops out at 25km/h. The DW40 is powered by a 36kW, Stage 5 emissions-compliant engine with fuel-saving Eco mode, and its bright yellow skip has a maximum heaped capacity of 2,300 litres.

The large display for the front and rear-view camera, as well as the optimum arrangement of all the operator's controls, make the dumper DW40 intuitive to operate, says Wacker Neuson. To prevent the machine from rolling away on a slope, the dumper DW40 is equipped as standard with a spring-loaded parking brake, which is actuated automatically as soon as the engine is switched off. The optional cabin includes air conditioning, a heater, LED work lights and radio with hands-free intercom.
