MILLER COUPLERS
Miller has launched its next generation of quick couplers, comprising the GTS Series for mini-excavators from one to six tonnes, and the GTX Series for machines from eight to 50 tonnes. They feature an ISO 13031-compliant locking system, designed to accept a wide variety of pin pick-up configurations. An additional safety feature is that the attachment has to be on the ground before the hitch will start to unlock. A nitrogen chamber within the hitch’s activation cylinder activates a physical locking function to keep the attachment in place should the hydraulic service fail.
These new hitches are no mere upgrades to an existing product, but are a totally new design. They have fewer working parts, are lighter and have a shorter build height than their predecessors.
