One Chinese is just never enough

There are many different manufacturers of construction equipment in China, some it has to be said are still producing rather primitive products, but a growing number are now producing some good reliable machines, using well proven components. The most notable of course is LiuGong, who through their UK dealership CPMS in Portsmouth, have been selling big orders to an ever growing number of high profile customers. Hardly surprising then to hear of another manufacturer, who see’s large potential to sell their machines to UK customers. I am not in the know as to just who it is yet, but my money would be on Sany, who’s products I saw during my trip to Bauma in 2010, seen here sporting red paintwork on the booms and dippers, which they now appear to have moved away from in favour of an all yellow livery. Of course, there are other well-known Chinese brands that I’m sure would be keen to enter the UK, like Shantui and Zoomlion, but I still suspect it will be Sany. Check out this video from the recent ConExpo event, where Sany put on a show with their machines, which bear a striking resemblance to a very well know Japanese make!
