Parisian plant fest awaits at Intermat 2018

We anticipate that there will be plenty of new and innovative kit to see from the vast majority of manufacturers who will be attending the triennial event at its spiritual home, the Paris-Nord Villepinte exhibition centre from 23rd to 28th April. Whilst this show is no Bauma, it is still a great event to attend and in all fairness a bit easier on the feet than the monster Bavarian event which, coincidentally comes around once more next year. On home turf you can always expect to see a great range of products on display from Mecalac, both static and on their demonstration plot, which is well worth a visit! The show which also includes some 30,000 square metres of outdoor exhibition area which features many working demonstrations, will be home to some 1,500 exhibitors this year. Intermat predicts that around 183,000 visitors will attend the show. Many companies use Intermat to launch new products as one of the "Big Three" events on the show circuit, among them, I expect to see new machines from Bobcat this year. Sadly, due to other overseas commitments this year, I will not be able to attend as I expected too, but to get you in the mood for a visit, here is the official Intermat 2018 video.
