Plant on parade at Plantworx (Part Three)

A&Y Equipment will be showing a full range of their construction equipment from a small Ammann compactor plate up to a Yanmar 10 tonne excavator. Amongst the varied portfolio, customers will get the chance to see new machines that were launched recently at the EHS including the new 1.5 tonne mini excavators the SV16, SV18 and the larger 2.5 tonne class SV26. Both come with two speed drive, Flow-sharing closed-centre hydraulic system, more economy, less downtime, a complete package all round. Also fresh from EHS will be the new Cormidi Tracked Dumper the C85. This dumper will outperform the competition in many areas, including stability, the Cormidi’s across the range all use “rocking rollers” enabling the Cormidi Dumper to keep a large contact area with the ground conditions at all times. On the demo area we also expect to see the Prinoth T12 – 12 ton tracked utility vehicle. Terex Construction, will showcase its latest range of compact construction machinery at this year’s PLANTWORX exhibition. The Terex team will be showcasing the company’s 2015 compact machinery range. Alongside the latest models from its backhoe loader, site dumper and compaction roller portfolios, Terex will exhibit its ‘Generation 2015’ wheel loaders and excavators portfolio. With new engines, updated design and a refreshed operating system for greater productivity, each model is produced at company’s Crailsheim facility in Germany and features the latest in ‘Smart Control’ operating systems. Alongside static displays, a live demonstration stand will see a selection of Terex equipment being put through its paces. Additionally, those with PPE and machine operating licences will be able to try out the latest compaction construction machinery for themselves. Marubeni-Komatsu will be displaying a wide range of its products at Plantworx, but the star machine on its plot looks set to be the PC210LCi-10 which features Komatsu’s exclusive machine control and guidance system, fully integrated with all other qualities and benefits of a standard Komatsu PC210LC-10 excavator. Thanks to the exclusive control function, the operator will no longer have to worry about digging too deep or damaging a target surface.  From rough digging to finish grading, the PC210LCi-10 excavator can dramatically improve efficiency, precision and safety on the work site. Much more than just machine guidance, this latest Komatsu technology is a revolution in how hydraulic excavators will be used in the coming years. JCB will showcase models from its world-leading telescopic handler range, brand new series of compact excavators, ground-breaking site dumpers and award-winning hybrid generator line-up at Plantworx 2015. Two of JCB’s new site dumpers models – which range in size from one to 10 tonnes – will be shown. The 6-tonne machine, designed for high carrying capacity in large earthmoving projects will be on static display while the 3-tonne version will be part of JCB’s live demonstrations throughout the show. The 67C-1 is a 6.5-tonne class, conventional tail-swing compact excavator, delivering durability, efficiency and productivity thanks to an innovative family design. Key features include a tier 4 final engine with no DPF, 30ş tilting cab for excellent service access, 500 hour greasing interval, 100% steel bodywork for excellent durability and the JCB “2 Go System”. Amongst its wide range of equipment on display at Plantworx Wacker Neuson will display its award winning DualPower 803 compact mini excavator which utilises diesel power to and from its work position before switching to electric drive to allow it to work in confined spaces or applications where emissions cannot be tolerated. Plantworx 2015 marks a welcome return to the demo circuit for Hanix Europe. The company will be demonstrating its full range of micro, mini and midi excavators at the show. The company will be demonstrating the extremely versatile H09D – weighing in at just 980kg, yet loaded with big-machine features, its retractable tracks make it an ideal machine for work on access-restricted sites – through to the H55DR with one of the greatest bucket digging forces in its class. In its standard format, the H55DR is a true zero-tail swing excavator and, at Plantworx, Hanix will be demonstrating a new long arm version of this high performance digging workhorse – claiming an impressive digging depth of over 4 metres. Hanix also has further plans for 2015 which include the eagerly awaited introduction of a new 8 tonne machine later in the year, a development which gives the Japanese company a formidable range to suit all users. Hill Engineering Ltd is again exhibiting their multi award winning hydraulic quick coupler – TEFRA and a selection of their TITAN bucket range. In addition to this, Plantworx 2015 sees Hill Engineering exhibit two new ground breaking products - the new TEFRA Tilt and Tilt Rotate couplers. These two new product innovations are the latest editions to the award winning TEFRA family, which take all the advantages of the TEFRA Coupler, and provide their customers with the added benefit of increased productivity and versatility in multiple applications. The TEFRA Tilt and Tilt Rotate will be available for machines sizes ranging from 7-55 tonne, and like the TEFRA Coupler, they have been specifically designed to be almost maintenance free. Talking of quick couplers, Miller UK will be showcasing the latest additions to its Cast PowerLatch range of quick couplers at Plantworx 2015. As the world leader in safety-led coupler technology, Miller adds a 3.5T PowerLatch coupler to its current offering to complete the range. The Miller Cast PowerLatch coupler is now available from 3.5T to 45T, with fabricated solutions to suit models up to 120T. Another addition to the range is the PowerLatch Tilt coupler which builds upon the proven Miller TwinLock design. With up to 180o tilt functionality, the PowerLatch Tilt provides additional movement and improves versatility and flexibility.
