Show season kicks off again

Now in its 57th year the Doe Show is without doubt the largest agricultural, construction and groundcare dealer show in the UK and takes place at its spiritual home in Ulting, Maldon, in Essex and runs for 3 days on the 7th, 8th and 9th of February. The show is legendary in the area and is well worth a visit as there is always plenty to see and do and things to get involved in over the course of the 3 days. dsc_0021 For those of us with a specific interest in construction plant and machinery there will be plenty to see, with live demonstrations of machines from Ernest Doe’s portfolio of products which includes the likes of Hyundai, Bomag and Thwaites. We expect to see examples from Hyundai’s latest HX range being displayed both statically and on the demonstration plot. dsc_0068 In addition to all the new kit on display there are always bargains to be had in the used equipment section of the showground with prices being slashed throughout the duration of the event. dsc_0041 There are also other working demonstrations to be seen with the likes of regular exhibitor Exac-One displaying products from their range of work attachments. dsc_0062 Add into the mix over 150 trade stands both indoors and outdoors, free entry, refreshments and parking and you are guaranteed a great day out, but wrap up warm as it can be a bitter day on the east side of the country! dsc_0064 But hey, don’t just take my word for it, check out this fantastic promotional video from the guys and girls at Ernest Doe to get a real flavour for the event!
And of course this is just the start of a busy year on the show circuit. Around the same time as the Doe Show, for those who prefer to be inside at this time of the year, we have the Executive Hire Show which takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on the 8th & 9th February. Then on 6th, 7th and 8th June it’s the UK's main event as Plantworx opens its doors again for another 3 day feast of plant and machinery at its spiritual home in Bruntingthorpe. Oh and not forgetting to add into the mix that "little" show in Las Vegas Conexpo 7th -11th March for those that are lucky enough to be able to attend. Its going to be a busy year for sure!
