Takeuchi TB235-2 a US market addition

In the UK we have recently seen the arrival of Takeuchi’s fixed boom TB2150R which is selling so fast the factory is struggling to keep up with demand. However, it is not a model that the American dealers have decided to sell as they feel that the TB2150 with off-set boom is better suited to the US market. By contrast the TB235-2 has been available in the US since late 2017. The machine shares the same design concept and more rounded shapely style of the hugely popular TB230, TB240 and the TB260 models and is available in both canopy and cabbed versions. As far as I know we are not likely to see this second-generation model in the UK anytime soon, but you never know as things change in the marketplace all the time. Powered by a 24.4hp Yanmar 3TNV88F engine the TB235-2 has an operating weight of 7,474lbs, a dig depth of 10 feet 7.7 inches, maximum reach of 17 feet 3 inches and breakout force of 9,127lbs. On the cab variant the new model features the same spacious cabin and automotive styled interior with multi-information coloured monitor as the aforementioned models, air conditioning can be added as an optional extra, well worth going for in my opinion.
