Takeuchi’s demo impresses Matt Willis

Matt Willis has been trading for over 5 years and now runs a fleet of mini excavators which is dominated by Kubota models. He does however run one Takeuchi machine, a 2010 model TB016 full cab version which has served him very well. He has been keen to get “hands on” with the replacement for the TB016 for some time now and has recently had the opportunity to have a demonstration of the new TB216 which was arranged for him by CBL Plant Sales regional salesman Glyn Wallace, who operates out of the companies Saltash depot in Cornwall. Commenting on the new machine Matt said, “It’s been a bit of a wait to try it but I’m well impressed with the machine, its super smooth to operate, has plenty of power and the reach is amazing for a 1.5 tonne class machine, it was well worth the wait". With a whole host of improvements over the extremely popular TB016, which was an all time best seller for Takeuchi, this new model looks like a sure fire winner! Matt seemed confident that the machine will be an ideal replacement for his current Takeuchi when it comes to time to change it. We won’t go into too much detail on the TB216 in this post as I have an article going in a future edition of Earthmovers Magazine. If you would like to take a look at the TB216 yourself and you are in the Cornwall area next week, why not pop along to the Royal Cornwall Show in Wadebridge where CBL Plant Sales will be displaying an example on its stand. The show runs from Thursday through to Saturday and I will be there on the Friday & Saturday, I look forward to seeing you there!
