Thwaites dumper cab impact test
Thwaites has demonstrated the protection offered by its dumper cabs with a dramatic impact test held at its proving ground in Leamington Spa. A standard nine-tonne Thwaites Dumper with ROPS (Rollover Protection System) & FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structures) ISO 3471 & ISO 3449-compliant cab was struck by a 14-tonne excavator’s fully extended boom slewing a loaded bucket at full speed.
