UK Tiltrotator interest at an all-time high

Interest in tiltrotator’s in the UK and the benefits they can offer has been growing steadily in recent years. As a big fan of the concept I have been trying hard to promote the idea that has been almost a standard fitting in Sweden and other Scandinavian countries for 20 years now. From a slow start trying to convince a sceptical UK market, the guys from Engcon and more recently Steelwrist have done amazingly well in trying to sell us a product that they see on sites everyday back home in Sweden. Well now, in what must be seen as a trailblazing move, UK company Hill Engineering has joined the tiltrotator revolution and as we reported on earlier in the year, showcased their new TiltRotate system at Hillhead. The new unit will see the Tefra hitch components married to a German HKS tilt-rotation unit. You can see one of the HKS systems working in the video below. Look out for my report on the Hill TiltRotate in a future issue of Earthmovers Magazine.
