UK’s first Stage 5 Yanmar SV60
F M Arblaster & Son has taken delivery of the very first Stage 5-compliant Yanmar SV60 sold in the UK. Retailed through Mawsley Machinery in Brixworth, Yanmar’s official dealer for South Central England, the new model will be used for a wide range of agricultural contracting applications.
The latest version of the Yanmar SV60 is fitted with the manufacturer’s 33.4kW Stage 5-compliant 4TNV84T-ZMBVA engine, boasting low emissions and reduced fuel consumption. Additional features, such as Auto-Deceleration (enabling the engine to idle if operating levers aren’t touched) and Eco Mode (which reduces motor speed to 300rpm), make the SV60 one of Yanmar’s most eco-friendly models ever.
Offering the performance of a midi-excavator with the space-saving benefits of a more compact model, the SV60 delivers impressive lifting capacities and ‘unmatched’ stability, reckons its maker. Featuring Yanmar’s state-of-the-art ViPPS hydraulic system, operators benefit from precise control and powerful digging forces – 24.8kN on the arm and 41.9kN on the bucket.
