Yanmar ViO17 at Executive Hire Show

Yanmar Compact Equipment Europe (CEE) will showcase its ViO17 mini excavator at this year’s Executive Hire Show. Representatives from the company’s UK and European sales teams will be located on stand K48 at the trade event, which takes place from February 5th to 6th at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Neither the counterweight nor the upper frame of Yanmar’s zero tail swing machine exceed the width of the crawlers, making the ViO17 suited to tight job sites. A variable undercarriage (950mm-1,280mm) maximises stability by adapting itself to the space available, while the permanently fixed, hinged blade extensions are easy to fold out. Powered by a three-cylinder, 14hp Yanmar 3TNV70-XBV diesel engine, operators are provided with 52Nm torque developed at 1,600rpm, 15.2kN digging force (bucket) and travelling speeds of up to 4.3kph. The new engine also boasts reduced emissions, reduced noise, improved starting and meets the latest emissions compliance standards.

The ViO17 features Yanmar’s VIPPS three-pump variable flow hydraulic system, which its maker says enhances smoothness of operation and control. The canopy is ROPS/FOPS/TOPS-compliant, and the auxiliary power take-off and boom offset are controlled by separate pedals.
