A look around at LiuGong

This batch of photograph’s were first posted some years ago having kindly been sent to me by Sander Gesink. I thought it was time to dig them out again as they are quite interesting and also show a bit of background history on the LiuGong company.

A look around at LiuGong
During visits to the company’s headquarters in Liuzhou, China, visitors are treated to a display of products in the reception area of the factory, as well as the historically important Z435 wheeled loader. dscn00011 There are more recent machines on display, including this wheeled loader displayed in the all white livery of the UN. dscn00014 Adjacent to the UN wheeled loader was this example of a B230 dozer model from LiuGong, which has a very familiar look to it. This machine features a 179kw (240hp) engine. Since this photo was taken LiuGong have purchased the Dressta dozer business. dscn00017 The next photo really caught my eye, two skid steer loaders flanking a backhoe loader. The skid steers are a 375A model and the smaller 325, which the operator stands on the back to operate. The 777A backhoe loader is possibly a prototype, as I cannot see it listed on the company website, but it did make me perform a double take when I first saw it! dscn00016 Visitors are also shown around the Liuzhou Industrial Museum, where another example of LiuGong’s first production wheeled loader, the Z435, can be found. dscn0204 Also displayed along the walls of the museum, are a number of photos showing historic production milestones in the LiuGong companies history. dscn0205 Lastly in this batch of photos, is yet another example of the Z435, displayed in a factory floor type diorama. dscn0198 Find out more on LiuGong's history in this promotional video from the company.
