Digger Man salutes our armed forces

On this the 11th Hour of the 11th Day of the 11th Month, our country will fall silent as we remember the brave men and women that have fought and died for our freedom today.

In many ways it is even more important that we respect this tradition today, as the world is facing a new dark age of terror from those who want to take our freedom away. So I hope that you will all get a chance to pay your respects today with 2 minutes silence at 11am, I know I will certainly stop what I am doing to remember the fallen today. In keeping with the theme we would also like to thank the many manufacturers of construction kit, who have designed and built machines specifically for the military that helps to keep our brave men and women as safe as they can possibly be when out on active service.

One such machine is the JCB HMEE a machine that was originally designed to support the US Army’s Stryker Brigades. It has gone on to prove itself in theatres of operation all over the world thanks to its fast speed, mobility and high levels of protection for the crew.
