JCB’s Pothole Pro Taking on the Pothole Menace

Apparently, Monday was National Pothole Day, an event intended to highlight the scourge of potholes that are affecting so many of our roads in the UK, with new figures released showing that damage to vehicles caused by potholes has hit a five year high.

The research by the AA – released on National Pothole Day – shows that the motoring organisation dealt with 631,852 pothole related incidents in 2023, the highest for five years.

JCB’s Pothole Pro has been leading the charge in the battle of the potholes since its inception into the JCB range. The multi-function machine is capable of cutting, cropping and cleaning the potholes taking out most of the labour-intensive work, and speeding up the repair process.

A massive ambassador for the Steelwrist equipped Pothole Pro is James Harper who works for Stoke City Council’s Highways division. James’s work with the machine is well documented on his Instagram account ‘Highwayharper’ where he shares videos and images of his day-to-day work repairing potholes around the Stoke area.
