Hands on with a Volvo D Series excavator

It’s been a while since I operated a Volvo excavator, having spent a considerable amount of time in EC140’s and EC210B’s in the past. The EC220DL hydraulic excavator will be displayed on the Volvo stand alongside a BL71 backhoe loader, at the L Lynch Plant Hire sponsored, UK Plant Operators event that we covered on the blog recently, which takes place on Sunday 1st September, just off junction 24 of the M5. Our regional salesman Richard Shelbourne will be on hand, to offer advice on the latest Volvo products and deals. My last encounter with an EC220DLC took place in the glorious setting of Lorient, in France last year as seen in the photo below.
