XCMG diggers and dumpers

An enormous fleet of modern XCMG machines are operating at a coal mine in Wuhai, Inner Mongolia – some 1,000km west of Beijing. Under pressure from the Chinese government to clean up its act, the Wuhai mining site is putting to use over 500 XCMG dumpers and more than 200 units from the company’s 70- to 300-tonne hydraulic excavator ranges. Models working at the mine include 100-ton XDM100 dump trucks, as well as 70-ton XE700D and 115-ton XE1250 excavators.

Wuhai is known as the ‘northern-frontier town of coal’, but its local mining sites have been blamed for causing excess pollution in the area. The mining area's top dog hopes these XCMG machines can turn around their fortunes. Read more about XCMG here and check out the company’s new electric mini-excavator.
