Just another day in the alpine office
Over the years on the blog we have been blessed with some stunning photos from readers who have been kind enough to send them into us, this latest offering from Swiss machinery operator Nicola Donnabella, really is stunning in the extreme!
Nicola is the lucky operator of a Kaiser Spyder S 1 climbing excavator and gets to work in the Swiss Alps where a stunning backdrop of scenery is an everyday occurrence. There is not much detail on the job Nicola was doing here but he has told me they were working on digging some foundations for a new ski lift during the off season. Nicola is seen in action loading a Hydrema 912 ES with the excavated material while working on a steep incline.
This is yet another photo that really needs no comments to describe it, as the old saying goes, “A picture paints a thousand words”.
