YEAR IN REVIEW: April 2020

As April brought in the second quarter of 2020, construction machinery manufacturers continued delivering the goods, with a range of new models finding their way to happy customers. The world was changing before our eyes, but operators were still hard at it - working around the clock on housing developments, roadsides, in quarries and more. Even at this point, the construction sector's resillience to the effects of the unfolding global drama was impressive.

1) NEW LIEBHERR FOR PREMIER COAL

Premier Coal, a large mining company based in Western Australia, takes delivery of a brand new Liebherr R 9400 hydraulic excavator, complete with 24-cubic-metre bucket. Read more.

 

2) REDUCED TAILSWING VOLVO FOR J D POPE & SONS

Somerset-based J D Pope & Sons Ltd reinforces its loyalty to Volvo with the purchase of two new excavators destined for contract jobs for the local water authorities. Read more.
